Kevin Smith's raucous, raunchy, and rowdy new crowd-pleaser Zack and Miri Make A Porno comes to Edmonton for a very special festival screening. Dispelling any notions that he might 'mellow with age', Kevin Smith has delivered his funniest, raunchiest, and yes -- sweetest movie to date.

Lifelong platonic friends Zack (Rogen) and Miri (Banks) look to solve their respective cash-flow problems by making an adult film together. As the cameras roll, however, the duo begins to sense that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought.

Indie Icon Kevin Smith pushes the envelope further than ever before, as Zack and Miri Make A Porno has already infamously – and triumphantly – battled the evil empire of the MPAA over the NC-17 rating they originally gave this film. He fought, he won, and now his very R-Rated comedy is ready to assault unsuspecting multiplexes throughout North America, just in time for Halloween.

But you don’t have to wait that long, for EIFF is thrilled to host this very special early screening of one of this fall’s most highly-anticipated comedies. This is sure to be one of the hottest tickets of this year’s festival, so you're advised to get in line EARLY!

This movie was non-stop funny... I thought Seth Rogen's performance was amazing, raising the bar on humor. Kevin Smith makes a sweet flick!
