An epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Panic erupts, and scientists feverishly make plans for a massive organ harvest. Out of the tragedy, GeneCo, a multi-billion dollar biotech company, emerges. GeneCo provides organ transplantation for a profit. In addition to financing options, GeneCo reserves the right to implement default remedies, including…repossession. For those who can't keep up with their organ payments, collection is the responsibility of "organ repo men", skilled assassins contracted by GeneCo, ordered to recover GeneCo's property...by any means necessary. With an eclectic cast that includes veteran character actors Paul Sorvino and Bill Moseley, Buffy icon Anthony Head, and tabloid magnet Paris Hilton, it’s readily apparent that this is not just another night at the movies. And just for fun: supporting work from musicians as disparate as Joan Jett, Sarah Brightman, and Skinny Puppy mastermind Nivek Ogre.

Expanding upon his 2006 short film of the same name, director Darren Lynn Bousman has created a visionary horror/musical that hits the big screen accompanied by the deafening buzz of the lucky few to have already seen it. It received a rapturous response at this year’s FantAsia Film Festival Montreal, and now EIFF is ecstatic to present this EXCLUSIVE Western Canada Premiere screening, courtesy of our friends at Maple Pictures. This film is a regular admission screening. Tickets are $12 at the Empire City Centre 9 box office and available 30-minutes prior to the film screening.
